Xbmc file manager select files

Seems not correct to me. Maybe garbear can shed some light on this? I have now found out the following. If you install and set up Kodi offline, the image display via the file manager works again. If you go online afterwards, the image display still works. Please disconnect from the Internet and delete the "Addons Then start Kodi offline and the picture display works again. Then re-establish the internet connection. I would also like to note that the workarround does not last long because the Addons Deleting the file offline every time may not be the solution in the long run.

So it's up to the Kodi team to fix the problem. I do not give up hope that this problem can be solved in the future. Slowly I hope that fuzzard or garbear will take a look here to perhaps show a solution to this problem. I think the extension association work that AlwinEsch is doing might be able to help here. Also hope it might help Yes, I will tackle that, everything that brings file extensions or mimetypes with addons should be checked in the future to ensure that the correct place is processing it.

Unfortunately, it will be pretty much impossible to create a suitable backport to have Matrix in Kodi 19 as well. Then maybe we strip common image and video extensions from game add-ons? Or should we have a "play using" dialog? Sounds good, I'll modify our generation script to strip out problematic extensions. Which extensions should be stripped? This ticket is about. I assume problematic is also. There was an issue about these a while back, and I think we resolved it but can't find the issue. Just mentioned those extensions because they serve multiple purposes.

I mentioned on Slack a few days ago, a big cause is also the xrick core. This might be a workarround : comment. Kodi needs some modifications, but in the meantime to fix the problem immediately, I'll patch the cores:. OK, I merged the patches and pushed new versions to the mirrors. Try refreshing you add-on repos in a few hours and see if the problem is fixed.

Kodi 20 Nexus Alpha. Our Jenkins build server doesn't like the line endings of the patches:. Are there already new findings in the direction of Kodi Matrix and Nexus PC - Windows 10 Pro AlwinEsch Can you update the patches for 3dengine and retro3?

Hello garbear I haven't heard from AlwinEsch how he made the windows patch. I got a windows box so I'll sit down and figure it out when I get a chance. For where you mean? Right, doing the same thing for 3dengine and retro8.

I assume to make the patch you fired up a windows box, which checked out the LF files as CRLF, then created a new patch? No, for there it not needed, the CRLF only becomes needed to change if on patched code them is used.

If them not on 3dengine and retro8 then also not needed. Ronny-nerd Can you retest? All platforms should be fixed now.

Would like to thank you very much There are no more problems to output. Skip to content. Star New issue. Jump to bottom.
